My friend Chelsea!!! The extension Queen!!! |
Almost every woman I know has wanted long princess hair at some point in her life...I got mine on this last Sunday, thanks to one of my friends and co-workers, Chelsea!
This is what my hair looked like before the extensions were put in...

You have to know that I love my hair just the way it is. It is very easy to manage unless I'm in humidity. But part of me wanted to explore and do something I had never done before...so, I got...
EXTENSIONS!!!
I had myself be a guinea pig. Here are some pics before, during and after!
This is some of the hair and tools used to give me Princess Hair. Looks a little like surgery :)

Above is some of the hair, shrinkies, tail comb, clip and a hot tool.
The hot tool and the shrinkies work together to form a keratin bond around my hair and the extension hair so the extensions stay in place for up to 4 months.
This is the half way point...Looks a little strange but my hair is evolving (and growing) before my eyes!
This is after the whole head has been completed...
Next, a haircut to make these bad boys look my own :)

Now, I know I loved my hair before, but I have to say...I may need a therapist to help me part ways with the new fuller, longer haired, ME!!!
Poor Chelsea doesn't even know what she has gotten herself into...;)
Just call me Rapunzel!
