After talking with a friend the other day and discussing different blogs, I thought I would join the masses and start my own. This is about my everyday journey into the world of hair and beauty. July was an exceptionally crazy month, and I am super excited about August!
I work at SEVEN, a top rated salon in Seattle, and I am one of the 3 leaders of our Creative Team. The Creative Team is where we get to dream and push the boundaries of hair and our imaginations. It is comprised of some of the most amazing hair stylists that I know.
We have our own fashion show coming up on the 29th of this month for Bellevue Fashion Week with the awesome retailer Zebra Club. Lots of meetings and planning taking place right now. It's all about the details and being organized. I'm pretty sure that my parents forgot to tell me my middle name is "organization". My father is so proud :) and I'm pretty sure my mom is too!
One of the many things that I love about creating our own show is that the team gets total creative freedom. We decide hair, makeup, music and background (media, video). Right now, as I type, my floor is covered in pictures and tears of inspiration. It includes images of hair, makeup, models and feeling. Not to mention a "How to" for each look. It amazes me to watch and see how all of these ideas and creativity come to fruition. Don't worry, I'll be posting pics along the way!
